Trendy Thursday - musical theme!

We're a very musical family, so I've always loved Charle in little band T-shirts, and can usually find them in H&M kids and Next.
In the boys section.

Charlie's growing up around mammy & daddy's music which is a crazy and delightful mixture of rock, reggae, a bit of metal; rock n roll, rockabilly, blues, folk & country- which I think he might like judging by his jumping around and grinning when it comes on!

Like most toddlers, he loves anything he can use to create music (aka: loud noise), his xlyophone, his maracas and bells, his djembe drum, and daddy's ukelele & guitars!

I apologise for the quality of these pictures; my Nikon has broken. Again. And for good this time. So most of these are taken on my phone, and the camera isn't as great as it promised to be in all the adverts.
That's the last time I buy a Nikon, it's the 3rd to completely break in just a few months.

The Rolling Stones & Led Zepp tee's are both from Next; the guitar romper is from F&F at Tesco (amazing quality material too), and AC/DC top is from H&M kids. All in the boys section - which seriously...just rawr!

Bob Marley bodysuit. I love this. I bought this from Download Festival in 2010 or something, before I even had kids, for when I had kids! It doesn't specify the size but I think it's 12-18, and still fits Charlie now at 21 months, woohoo.

His rolling stones "tracksuit" (I hate calling it that but I suppose that's what it is!) was bought from George at Asda. I was scanning the clothes for something decent and these were all hidden at the back behind a load of fake burbery print or something, it's brilliant for rough and tumble play, or .. I was going to say a slouchy duvet rainy day but they don't exist with a nearly-two-year-old!

I'm been going crazy buying Charlie summer stuff, and I'm currently saving up for a couple of summer rompers from idikidual - my new favourite baby clothes!

I'm currently SO in love with this: I will have it before the summer!

Trendy Thursday

One of my hobbies obsessions is hunting for new styles for Charlie to wear. I really love bright colours and bold patterns. One of my favourite discoveries is Jools Oliver's "Little Bird" from Mothercare.

Charlie has had a few tops and rompers by Jool's that he's grown out of (stop growing so fast!) but I just love her groovy 70's retro style, splashes of bold colours, rainbows and stars - I love all that! I get seriously tempted to buy the little stuff for #2 already.

Another place I love is H&M kids. Every couple of months I'll go hunting around in there to find the new stuff. They always, always have some great alternative styles in there you can't find anywhere else. Charlie has had countless baby band t-shirts, funky leggings and bright coloured animal tops from there.

This week I've also noticed Charlie getting excited every time I get the camera out! He loves it when I take a picture of him and then show him on the LED screen afterwards. He doesn't know it's him yet - it's "Baby.....Baby Charlie!" and he likes baby Charlie!

Trendy Thursday

My favourite new item of clothing for Charlie this week is by far his little spotty wellies! Now he can paddle in the sea, in streams & the edges of rivers - and he loves it!

Red & white striped cotton trousers - Olive & Moss.
Red cord trousers - John Lewis.
Smile Bright wellies - via Ebay.
Long sleeve Fox jumper (I love it!) - Toby Tiger.

Burgundy skinny jeans - Peacocks
Star romper from Molokids

Moose top - Little Green Radicals
Faded dungarees - Next
Slugs & Snails tights (I know I put these here last time but I really love them!)

I also love these socks from H&M kids - it's so hard to find coloured socks for kids in shops! (There's an orange pair that say "Rabbitday" too but Charlie got them wet!)

Etsy toddler clothes mini haul!

I have just discovered Etsy. *nervous laughter*. I spent hours and hours browsing the organic cotton toddler leggings and woodland toddler themed clothes. WOW. I'm in my element! I love this stuff. This culminated in me spending just short of 50 quid on two items. Yeah, two... we're not that well off either. Chris is going to go ever so slightly a bit crazy when he sees the account balance.... I had to have these before they were gone though, I am so in love with them. I'll calm down with my toddler fashion addiction now... maybe...

I witted about 20 pairs down to these! Look at them! Hand made organic cotton LUSH coloured *green* (I love green) tree leggings... oh my god. I adore these. l want some for me!

I LOVE anything woodland - and this print has so many bright and bold things that I love. Foxes, leaves, trees, cherries, flowers, and I love the beige background, it just works so well. I love the autumn colours.

I messaged the seller and gave Charlies measurements and she just had enough material left for his size! I cheered. I'm not ashamed. Look at it! It's just lush.

I've never bought Charlie a necktie either... I just can't wait to pair this with little autumn shaded shirts and vests for summer, maybe a little red or brown trilby hat too. I'm praying that it'll still him in autumn!

I'll do a proper blog with Charlie modelling them & the links etc when they arrive. I'm just a bit over excited that I found Etsy and all the incredible toddler clothes on there!

Bit nervous about looking at our bank account. I really better stop buying things online for a few days!

Pic 2: Rockin' his pink "Smile" PJ's from George at Asda. He loves pink!

Pic 3: Moose long sleeve top by Little Green Radicals ~ chess pants by H&M kids ~bandana bibs are by Primark about £3 for a pack of 3.

Pic 4: Jacket by Ladybird, tights by Slugs & Snails, boots by Timberland.

My favourite new purchase this week - clothing or otherwise- by far is Charlie's new pair of autumn style Slugs & Snails tights for girls & boys.

I wish I'd found out about Slugs & Snails earlier because Charlie's socks go missing every single day (drives mammy crazy!) and I love him in little jeans & tops, but they get boring, and the style so samey. I LOVE how easily he can move in his tights and how colourful they are - I'll be buying more of these, they're adorable.
